Mindstrong Health has invented an amazing new AI based technology platform that is making waves in the health industry. It is predicted to completely change the way in which mental disorders are viewed and diagnosed. Mindstrong was also able to collect $14 million in funding for this project so they can advance the technology and application even further than previously thought. Mindstrong relies on the use of smartphones to monitor and records the cognitive details and movements of a person’s mind while they are using their phone and living life. Mindstrong has the ability to completely change the way we diagnose mental health issues and it will also help build a large amount of information so the understanding of mental health can be pursued further.
Currently, the diagnosis and understanding of mental disorders is rather subjective when compared to physical ailments which are treated using strict guidelines. It is challenging to provide an accurate diagnosis every single due to the nature of mental health and the clinical area in which it is diagnosed. Mindstrong is working to throw out this type of subjective thinking and hopes to diagnose mental disorders in the same way physical problems are identified. This will be forward progress in the the understanding and treatment of mental health. This new ability is world changing and will lead to many other scientific advances even just in this lifetime.
