Securus Technologies Reveals Positive Customer Comments It Has Received

Securus Technologies is based in Dallas, Texas and has over 3,450 clients who work in the law enforcement, corrections, and public safety sectors. The company, specifically, offers its clients biometric analysis, management of information, emergency response, information for the public, incident management, and much more. The company’s mission is to help protect the public and inmates through criminal justice technology.

Securus Technologies is a leader in offering technology that keeps the public safe, helps investigations, and monitors communications in corrections facilities. Recently, the company allowed the public to read comments from some of their customers who use their technology, and it was very eye opening. The comments came from a spread of emails and physical letters that were written by their varied customer base of jail and prison facility officials. These are from individuals who not only help to make prisons and jails a safer place but who also work, daily, to prevent and solve crimes.

One of the customer comments focused on the help that the technology offered to get a search warrant for a member of their staff that was bringing contraband into their facility. By allowing the customer to access information from phone conversations, they were able to make an arrest. Another communication focused on the way that Securus technology was able to help monitor calls that gave the facility the information they needed to halt the selling of drugs to inmates, the use of alcohol by inmates, threats, and the sell of prescription drugs in the facility. A very important comment talked about the LBS software that Securus offers and how it has helped the sheriff’s department to recover millions in cash money, drugs, and assets that are not legal. It spoke highly of the software and how the department would not have been able to recover everything without it.
